I created this: https://www.koinexpert.com/tools/

It looks at Luno, Ice3x, Valr and AltCoinTrader and attempts to find arbitrage opportunities. Right now there isn't anything over 1%, which doesn't make trading feasible. But I know opportunities do arise, so I'll keep an eye on it. In fact, I just tweaked it so the script emails me if it goes over 3%. So now I wait...

There was an issue due to some of the changes I made before. Please try again --> https://www.koinexpert.com/tools/

Take note that the tool really is great at finding ZAR arbitrage opportunities on local South African exchanges. It has found arbitrage opportunities as high as 10%. But there is a bit of a problem and it is called Volume. It's also the reason why a bot might be more effective at managing this. Let me explain...

There was an arbitrage opportunity where ETH was being sold at Luno for 1800 ZAR and at the same time, people were buying ETH at AltCoinTrader for 2000 ZAR. That is about 10% difference in price. If you had 10 000 Rand, and you could buy 5 ETH at Luno, you would spend 5 x 1800 = 9000. And you could sell it for 5 x 2000 = 10 000. That would mean a nice little profit of R1000. But..... volume! The problem in many cases is that the guy willing to pay 2000 ZAR for ETH only has 0.1 ETH available or even less. Which means, you can't sell 10 000 ZAR worth of ETH.

So therein lies the challenge. I am hoping to make that a bit easier soon by modifying that script so that it takes volume into account. No point in knowing there is a 10% arb if the volume is super low.

This is a great tool! Are you still developing this?

I see the link doesn't work anymore.

The plan was to move the logic to this page: https://zar101.com/

But then we backtracked and decided to make a new tool on Koinexpert.com that does this properly. But that is still a work in progress.

But the tools page should work. This is what I get when I run it locally:
